What is Quote-pool ?
Quote-pool is a collection of vendor neutral tools and messaging services that allow liquidity providers to contribute indicative data either to Quote-cast, Quote-board, 3rd party IOI platforms or directly to counterparties.
At the heart of Quote-pool is a set of open, publicly available, and royalty-free data schemas that define how two entities can exchange request-for-quote (RFQ) and indications-of-interest (IOI) messages.
Quote-pool is intended to offer trading counterparties a de-centralized framework for price discovery. It is intended to foster peer-to-peer exchanges of RFQs and IOIs without dependencies on any single technology vendor, intermediary. or platform. It is designed to be platform and neutral and support a variety of transport layers.
